About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's, a leading high street fashion retailer with over 3000 stores globally.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience
  • Demonstrating Claire's products and assisting customers with their queries using your product knowledge
  • Assisting with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns and promotions
  • Providing ear piercing services (you will receive full training)
  • Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Some high school education
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • A strong understanding of customer service
  • A sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • The ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • The ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • The ability to operate a POS system
