Job Summary
The Healthcare Administrator for Student Wellbeing will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of students at Laude Newton College. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that prioritizes academic excellence and student care.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional with experience in medical administration, first aid, and patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare services, including supervising students, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement effective strategies to promote student health and wellbeing, working closely with teachers, staff, and parents as needed;
- Maintain accurate records of student medical histories, allergies, and special requirements;
- Supervise students with medical needs, providing support and guidance as required;
- Manage the supply and control of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Develop and deliver health education programs for students and staff;
- Collaborate with school administrators to ensure seamless integration of healthcare services with overall school operations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A high level of English language proficiency (both written and spoken);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven experience in medical administration or a related field;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working in an educational setting or with children;
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in healthcare and education;
- Ability to speak additional languages, particularly Spanish.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, working approximately 35 hours per week. You will be expected to be flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to students, staff, and parents.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
