We are seeking a skilled Manager to join our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory (CMAA) team in Madrid. The CMAA team is led by a highly experienced Managing Director and is an integral part of our successful global TAG practice.

The successful candidate will contribute to large-scale accounting advisory engagements, provide accounting support to clients, and assist with ESMA, SEC, or FCA regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, IPOs, debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.

They will also be responsible for conversion services to clients requiring a change in their financial reporting to GAAP or IFRS, provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for M&A, divestitures, complex capital raising/restructures, financial instruments, revenue recognition, and fresh-start accounting support to clients upon emergence from bankruptcy.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for staff management, financial metrics of the engagement, and preparation and presentation of accounting findings and concepts. They will also support the development of the CMAA team, including recruitment, mentoring, and training junior team members.

The estimated annual salary for this role is €120,000 - €180,000, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar roles in Madrid and takes into account the level of expertise required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience within Capital Markets Accounting Advisory at a leading Accountancy firm
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited university preferred
