About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy and Data Protection Legal Counsel to join our team at eDreams ODIGEO, a leading technology company in the travel industry.

In this exciting role, you will play a key part in ensuring our data-driven products are built with privacy and AI compliance at their core.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on international privacy and data protection laws, including cutting-edge areas like AI regulation.
  • Develop and implement innovative privacy tools and technologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
  • Promote a culture of privacy awareness through engaging training sessions.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and legal updates.
  • Contribute to a thriving knowledge base for all things privacy-related.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, digital compliance, and a strong understanding of other digital laws and standards such as AI.
  • Holds a European Law degree (ideally from Spain) and membership of a European Bar (if permitted by law), with experience dealing with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (and any other as a plus); or other relevant degree combined with data protection postgraduate education.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (at least C1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages level).
  • Highly skilled at problem-solving, communication, and data analysis.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
