Job Summary

As a Receiving Associate at Accor Hotels, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying their accuracy, quality, and condition. This involves checking deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the relevant department or vendor. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting all received goods in our inventory management system and maintaining detailed records of deliveries. Additionally, you will assist in organizing and storing received items in designated areas, conduct periodic inventory checks, and reconcile physical stock with system records. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.
• Verify that deliveries match purchase orders and packing slips.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the relevant department or vendor.
• Accurately document all received goods in the inventory management system.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including date, time, and item specifics.
• File and manage paperwork associated with receipts and returns.
• Assist in organizing and storing received items in designated areas.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all goods.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to deliveries or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure timely distribution of supplies.
• Work closely with the Inventory Manager to report and address inventory needs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations in handling and storing items.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures for receiving and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
