About the Role
We are seeking a talented attorney with experience in data privacy to support our strategic and rapidly growing transportation business in Europe. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with our privacy and tech teams, liaising directly with senior business and tech leaders to advise on the deployment of new programs and products, and handle regulatory inquiries and escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement privacy compliance guardrails for our EU transportation businesses.
- Conduct privacy risk assessments and recommend mitigating measures for existing and new initiatives.
- Support the deployment of new tech products and programs on a pan-EU basis.
- Simplify and automate existing processes and policies, and build new processes.
Requirements
- License to practice law in Europe, US, or other common law jurisdiction.
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
- Experience in data privacy or tech product counseling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with in-house work at a technology or internet company.
