About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in driving the execution of Novartis' ambition to leverage data and digital technologies to drive actionable insights across the organization.

The successful candidate will be accountable for designing, building, and deploying LDC solutions in-scope processes and data based on user requirements defined in conjunction with the domain pillars GPO and the data team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing LDC solutions that meet business and user requirements, adhere to Novartis architectural standards, and ensure high-quality and secure solutions.
  • Collaborating with architecture to identify new technologies and opportunities arising from them.
  • Working with IT experts to ensure integrated solutions and applying a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Preparing and running fit-gap workshops to identify critical integration points and dependencies, and proposing solutions for key gaps.
  • Ensuring dedicated project work is delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality constraints following release calendars.
  • Championing the need to stay standard from a customization perspective by establishing standardized design and development processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant internal and external security and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert-level understanding of worldwide end-to-end sales order processes, data models, required capabilities, and operational pain points.
  • Curiosity and a forward-looking mindset to identify new trends and future expectations.
  • Strong digital savvy and leadership skills to inspire change, involve country experts, and effectively communicate with GPOs and stakeholders.
  • University-level degree and at least 3 years' experience in country and global roles, with Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
