Introduction: The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is seeking a skilled Research Project Coordinator to oversee and manage research projects across various research lines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Funding: Identify new project opportunities and prepare proposals to maximize success possibilities.
- Project formulation: Evaluate proposals and advise on project partners, budget, and proposal writing.
- Project management: Liaise between project stakeholders, coordinate between sites, and oversee project reporting.
- Financial management: Maximize the outcome of research lines within available budgets.
- Liaising: Collaborate with research group leaders and other IBEC research management areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or experimental/life sciences.
- PhD will be viewed favorably.
- Minimum one year experience in research project management, particularly with EU Framework Programme projects.
- Full command of Spanish and English.
- Catalan is a plus.
