Engaige is a pioneering startup that empowers larger companies to revolutionize their customer interactions. We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the advancement of our tech stack and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement backend services that drive our platform forward.
  • Help scale our architecture, including cloud-based services, REST APIs, and logging frameworks.
  • Be hands-on with our DevOps setup, streamlining deployments, monitoring systems, and optimizing infrastructure for reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate on technical roadmaps, working closely with the CTO and other engineers to shape the future of our product and backend ecosystem.
  • Ensure our systems are secure and robust by integrating monitoring and security tools, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing best practices for system reliability.
Technical Requirements:
  • 3+ years of backend development experience with a focus on building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
  • Professional DevOps experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar environments like AWS or Azure.
  • Strong experience with API design and RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with database management (PostgreSQL or similar) and caching solutions (Redis).
  • Bonus: experience with machine learning model deployment and integration with LLMs (Large Language Models).
