Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Team Leader System Assurance Management in Customer Projects to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our System Assurance team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of system assurance strategies, ensuring that our rail signaling solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a team of System Assurance engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement system assurance strategies, including risk management, hazard identification, and mitigation, to ensure that our rail signaling solutions meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and quality assurance, to ensure that system assurance requirements are integrated into project plans and deliverables.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as CENELEC standards for RAMS (EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159).
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that system assurance requirements are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve system assurance processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or electronic engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in rail signaling business, with a strong understanding of MT & ML signaling solutions (ERTMS, ASFA, ATP codes, CBTC).
- 5 years of experience as a RAMS engineer, with a deep understanding of CENELEC standards for RAMS.
- Hands-on experience in hazard management and identification, SIL and THR ratings, and performing RAMS studies like FMEA, FMECA, FTAs.
- Experience in requirements management, specification, traceability, and validation.
- Desirable experience in product or system development, and leading engineering or R&D teams.
- Strong self-motivated person with a natural focus on customer needs, perfect communication and negotiation skills, and excellent team player.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, German is a plus.
- Readiness for travel.
