Job DescriptionThis is a challenging opportunity to work on improving the availability, scalability, and observability of our services. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tooling to enhance the performance and reliability of our platform. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop world-class infrastructure components.
- Evolving our infrastructure platform to ensure it meets the growing demands of our users;
- Building self-service components that can be used by millions of users worldwide;
- Designing and implementing tooling to improve the availability, scalability, and latency of our services;
- Increasing reliability awareness within other teams and helping them adopt reliability principles;
- Defining Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as part of the services' lifecycle;
- Sharing an on-call schedule for the platform services you own; and
- Solving problems in our highly available platform together with other teams and building automations to prevent incidents from happening again.
If you are a strong programmer with expertise in at least one programming language, a good understanding of networking concepts, and experience with monitoring and logging tools, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, if you have a passion for simplicity, iteration, and communication, you will thrive in this role.
