Business Development Representative

Job Overview

The Business Development Representative will drive the expansion of our client base by identifying potential clients, establishing relationships, and generating leads.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the recruitment team to align our recruitment solutions with their staffing requirements.

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and target international companies that require skilled professionals for customer support, sales, finance, logistics, supply chain, and administrative roles.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct outreach campaigns (via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate leads and establish strong relationships with decision-makers at prospective companies.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with international companies to create a steady stream of recruitment opportunities.
  • Conducting in-depth research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business growth within targeted sectors.
  • Working closely with the recruitment consultants to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to client onboarding and recruitment execution.
  • Scheduling and conducting meetings with potential clients to present our recruitment services, understand their staffing needs, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Maintaining a detailed database of prospects and client interactions, tracking progress and reporting on outcomes.
  • Representing the agency at industry events and virtual conferences to grow our network of potential clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or recruitment, preferably within an international or staffing-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and establish trust.
  • The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and manage a dynamic pipeline.
  • Familiarity with customer support, sales, finance, logistics, supply chain, or general administration roles.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, especially Dutch.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent tools).
