Job Description

At AgileEngine, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Java software with a focus on concurrency and multi-threading
  • Implement secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization
  • Migrate monolithic solutions to cloud-native applications and services
  • Develop expertise in protocol development, including custom protocols
  • Integrate with RESTful services using JSON and experience with version control software such as Git
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Java software development experience
  • Expertise in Java concurrency and multi-threading
  • Strong knowledge of Java security best practices
  • Experience with socket programming and understanding of various file transfer protocols
  • Upper-intermediate English level
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (AWS)
  • Hands-on experience with file transfer protocols, including FTP/S and SFTP
  • Good understanding of EDI protocols, including AS2 and OFTP2
  • A strong foundation in managed file transfer (MFT) software space
  • AWS Certified Developer certification
