As a leading force in water management solutions, we are expanding our team and seeking skilled professionals to help us safeguard this essential resource.

Ecolab is looking for a Technical Application Engineer to join our esteemed Nalco Water Light Division. In this role, you will drive revenue and profit growth through targeted programs and services in key accounts. Utilizing a consultative sales strategy, you will foster relationships with current clients by understanding their primary business objectives and implementing system assurance initiatives. Your strong leadership in account management will also enable you to convert strategic competitive accounts and introduce innovative technologies to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to district sales teams in managing service calls related to Company programs for existing products and services, and assist in resolving issues as necessary. Engage in design assessments, initiate new applications, and conduct evaluations. Collaborate with relevant company resources and work cohesively as a team. Evaluate on-site field challenges and utilize necessary testing equipment to ensure systems meet customer specifications. Oversee and coordinate replacement parts programs with manufacturing facilities to guarantee the timely availability of components. Aid in the creation of reports that detail technical challenges and solutions to prompt necessary product modifications and/or recommended process adjustments. Document the value delivered to customers whenever feasible. Contribute to the development of troubleshooting service guides and bulletins for existing products. Take the lead in maintaining these guides/bulletins and distributing them to relevant departments as needed. Qualify, coordinate, and supervise the external subcontractor network as required to ensure repair timelines are met and customer satisfaction is upheld. Collaborate with other district personnel to enhance policies and procedures that lead to improved customer satisfaction. Offer installation resource services on a project basis to meet customer needs, which may include field surveys, installation checklists, rollout support services, etc. Provide training to first-line Account Managers on Company offerings and available resources to assist in addressing customer inquiries. Stay informed about the latest advancements in the industry through ongoing education.

Territory/Location Information:

This position is based in a designated area. The territory encompasses a radius of approximately 200 Km from the surrounding region.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or Chemistry. Proficiency in English and Spanish. Valid Driver's License. Strong digital, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical expertise or field support experience in water treatment. Experience in data management.
