Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer for Mobile Application Development to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless product experiences across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
• Collaborate with web developers to integrate web views seamlessly into the app experience
• Design, develop, and implement scalable features with a focus on end-user experience
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure a smooth release cycle with minimal defects
• Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring best practices and quality standards are met across the codebase
• Propose and implement software architecture solutions that follow industry best practices and design patterns
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 4+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong foundation in React Native
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript and proficiency in integrating web views within a mobile context
- Comfortable working with native iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) code when needed, including creating and maintaining React Native bridges to leverage platform-specific APIs
- Understanding of modern software engineering principles, with a proven ability to design and document feature architectures
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to writing clean and maintainable code
- Ability to collaborate with team members across disciplines, including web developers and QA, to deliver a seamless product

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
