Overview
DuPont, a premier multi-industrial company, is seeking an experienced Water Solutions Expert to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our Technical Service and Development Team, you will play a critical role in promoting specific technologies and applications in the water purification, conservation, and reuse sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert on ion exchange resins, providing technical guidance and consultation to internal teams and external clients to ensure efficient system designs, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with customers, extending technical support through selecting appropriate products, running models, and optimizing design in a cost-effective manner.
- Offer post-sales support for select projects as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for innovation product/solution offerings, documenting opportunities and related customer interactions.
- Contribute to new product development by conducting lab/field trials to generate and validate product performance data, striving for scientific innovation to bring competitive edge and capture value where appropriate.
- Promote products and solutions through joint visits with account managers to key brand owners/customers/OEMs/consultants.
- Develop engagement programs (action plans) for priority markets to increase business visibility and positioning as a technology partner.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and customer seminars as needed, providing training and technical support on system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ion exchange resins handling.
- Present technical proposals and solutions to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Conduct feasibility studies, analyze water quality data, and recommend appropriate technology, equipment, and operating conditions to achieve desired treatment outcomes.
- Compile and update product documentation material, such as case histories and customer success cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory.
- Languages: English (highly proficient in both spoken and written) and local language skills.
- 10 years of experience in technical functions, such as Technical Sales, Technical Service, or Project Management in water treatment.
- Relevant technical experience with Ion Exchange Resins theory and its practical application in water treatment, familiarity with water quality parameters.
- Implement industry best practices of work & personal safety, performing pilot tests, knowledgeable about standard methods.
- Readiness to attend business trips up to 25% of the time.
- Customer-centric attitude and capability to build customer relationships and trust.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong digital technology and data analysis skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multinational environment.
Location
This role is based in EMEA, Europe. We offer a highly competitive salary range estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
