AMZL EU BAT is a central analytics team within the Supply Chain organization of Amazon Logistics, specialized in automation, reporting, and forecasting. You will work with experienced professionals who are passionate about data and analytics, and who are committed to delivering high-quality results. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data visualization to statistical analysis, and will be able to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer who has a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. You will have experience working with large datasets and distributed computing technologies, and will be proficient in data modeling, ETL design, and business intelligence tools. You will also have hands-on knowledge of columnar databases such as Redshift and other related AWS technologies. You will be able to partner with customers to identify strategic opportunities in data engineering, and will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity. You will think big while paying careful attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team that continuously learns and evolves. You will also have experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, and will be able to work with SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling. You will also have experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift, and will be able to work with data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets. You will also have experience with forecasting and statistical analysis, and will be able to work with ML models.
