Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary RA regulatory point of contact on assigned projects related to Global Category Taste&Sugar Reduction within TTH BU.
  • Support the regional deployment of new flavour&food ingredients in the regions.
  • Act as an active member of innovation discussions, provides regulatory and scientific support on the development of new ingredients and processes.
  • Monitor global regulatory developments related to food, flavours, food additives and ingredients, and related areas, and provide BU-specific foresight/advice and regulatory interpretation.
  • Support and coordinate the dossier preparation and compilation with business, S&R and toxicology teams for regulatory submissions of new ingredients, including the compilation and submission of applications, reports and correspondence.
  • Develop, maintain guidelines and/or positions for key regulatory topics relevant for Global Category Taste&Sugar Reduction and align within RA team prior to finalization of the guidelines/positions. Ensure effective communication with the business partners.
  • Collaborate with the innovation community and provide support and guidance on regulatory and scientific aspects, and provide regulatory guidance to project teams, addressing regulatory issues, and aligning regulatory strategies with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • University / MSc in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biological Science or equivalent.
  • +5 years regulatory experience in Flavours, Food Ingredients, Food/Beverage or related industry.
  • Expert knowledge of the regulatory landscape in Food Industry (regulatory compliance, product registrations, technical specifications, product labeling, claims,...)
  • Very strong communication skills, clarity and transparent in communications, problem solving and desicion making skills.
  • Profound and natural team player.
  • Professional English is a must, any other European language is a plus.
