Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to support the AWS sales and marketing teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on strategic technology service agreements with enterprise customers and partners
- Provide legal support for local and regional services and initiatives
- Offer ongoing legal counsel and regulatory interpretation and guidance for senior executives and other business and legal team members on various product development, operational, security, compliance, and public policy matters
- Participate in other legal team projects, including managing legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling customer and client inquiries
Requirements:
- Innovative, progressive, hands-on, and highly customer-obsessed professionals
- Exceptional academic qualifications
- Significant post-qualification legal experience (5+ years) at a leading global law firm, ideally with at least 4 years in private practice
- High degree of independence, initiative, decisiveness, and creative thinking, as well as a desire to be challenged
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
- Familiar with cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications
