Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Carriers and Drivers department in Berlin, Barcelona, or Madrid. As a key member of our Asset Planning team, you will play a crucial role in developing a logistics platform that efficiently manages and schedules assets, optimizes routes and networks, and balances cost reduction with revenue maximization.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the development of new solutions within our team's scope, brainstorming innovative ideas, solving complex problems, and transforming them into actionable designs.
- Component Ownership: Take ownership of the team's components and libraries, ensuring their consistency and effectiveness, and guiding mid-sized projects from inception to completion.
- Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Work closely with experienced engineers in an empowered, autonomous, and agile team environment, creating documentation, enhancing test automation, and maintaining high-quality products.
- Architectural Growth: Participate in the development of a robust event-driven microservice architecture and micro-frontend framework, leading efforts to improve engineering standards and processes.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product managers to design and plan features that are ready for launch, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Community Engagement and Mentorship: Engage with backend and frontend developer communities, promote best practices in software engineering, and mentor junior developers to help them grow their skills and professional careers.
- Contribution to Open Source: Engage in and contribute to Sennder's inner source projects, enhancing and sharing expertise within the broader tech community.
