About the Opportunity:

Empresa reconocida is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our team in the EMEA region. As a Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in managing requests for proposal (RFPs) and ensuring the successful delivery of our proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proposal Development: Lead and manage the development of proposal and assessment response content, including written, oral, and demonstration components.
  2. RFP Project Management: Manage RFP projects by creating project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedule, coordinating, advising, and leading the RFP response team.
  3. Team Collaboration: Establish trusted working relationships with our teams, including sales managers, sales engineers, solution architects, product specialists, finance, legal, and Deal Desk for additional information.
  4. Win Strategy Development: Facilitate the development of win strategies and value propositions together with the account team.
  5. Content Development: Compile RFP response content blending styles of multiple authors.
  6. Quality Assurance: Maintain accuracy of grammar, spelling, and punctuation and formats of texts and check pictures, graphics, etc. for aesthetics, quality, and adherence to RFP specifications.
  7. Editing and Compliance: Edit the response for grammar, punctuation, capitalization, clarity, readability, consistency, persuasiveness, and adherence to customer requirements.
  8. Compliance Validation: Conduct compliance validation.
  9. Document Quality: Provide document quality and editorial input throughout the process.
  10. Supplemental Content: Compile supplemental texts and attachments.
  11. Final Submission: Provide final submission to sales representatives or directly to customer.
  12. Content Refresh: Capture, maintain, and refresh reusable content.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 2+ years of experience in proposal development responding to RFPs or in a related field.
  2. Skills: Advanced experience creating business and technical documents and presenting these. Strong ability to actively approach, challenge, persuade, and work with senior and experienced team members, leaders, and customers.
  3. Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; another European language (Spanish, German, Italian) is a plus.
  4. Organizational Skills: Proficient in working in a fast-paced, international work environment with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Confidentiality: Ability to manage confidential information.
  6. Coaching: Highly willing to share expertise and experience by actively coaching others.
