We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Santander. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for executing work packages with varying levels of supervision, depending on the task's technical complexity. Your duties will include receiving instructions from the team leader, studying and analyzing work packages, and following the sequence of the Instruction Production Plan to achieve the desired quality and deadline.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception of instructions from the team leader, including drawings and handbooks.
  • Execution of work with varying levels of supervision, depending on the task's technical complexity.
  • Study and analysis of work packages, following the sequence of the Instruction Production Plan.
  • Job preparation before execution.
  • Cleanliness of parts and workstations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in heavy boilermaking work.
  • 3-10 years of experience in the requested position.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and codes.

Language Skills:

  • Advanced English or French.
  • Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Crane operator certification.
  • Working at height certification.
  • Work in confined spaces certification.
  • Working with forklifts certification.
