Comet Capital Seeks Experienced Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Comet Capital. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and success.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring our finance team to provide high-quality financial reporting and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and success
  • Lead and inspire the finance team to provide high-quality financial reporting
  • Work closely with the company MD to ensure financial responsibilities and reporting are met
  • Enhance internal controls, processes, and procedures for monitoring financial progress
  • Prepare accurate cash funding requests and manage cash flows
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports at project and company level
  • Manage and control year-end audit
  • Liaise with specialized advisors and optimize tax planning
Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or national equivalents)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Driven by attention to detail and getting 100% accuracy
