About the Role

This exciting opportunity as a Corporate Financial Planner is located in Spain and plays a crucial role in supporting the country's financial ambitions. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely achievement of business results through the coordination of the budgeting process, collection, assessment, and analysis of results.

You will work closely with the country Finance Director to contribute to the definition, development, and management of a planning and management control system that enables the company to achieve its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Period end closing and reporting: Ensure key controlling tasks and analytical processes in our month-end closing, including purchase order accruals, right postings, and accuracy checks.
  • Inventory management and validation: Coordinate with supply chain accuracy for forecasting and provide financial advice on potential effects of delayed product supplies.
  • Financial budgeting and planning: Contribute to achieving ambitious financial goals and targets, challenge budgets of other departments, and forecast P&L and cash flow.
  • Costing: Perform variance analysis and support the FD in analyzing transfer price schemes.
  • Management reporting and forecasting: Prepare period financial forecasts, analyze product P&Ls, and evaluate financial performance by advising and challenging the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a university master's degree in finance or economics, with 7-10 years of experience in Finance, preferably in a multinational environment. You must have demonstrated understanding of financial and accounting principles, as well as experience in leading teams, both onshore and offshore.

A strong analytical mindset, self-motivation, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Proficiency in IFRS and business English (oral and written) is also required. Local language skills may be beneficial depending on the location.
