We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python AWS Developer to join our team at Zurich Insurance. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS, as well as building clean and efficient back-end features in Python.

As a Senior Python AWS Developer, you will participate in the software development life cycle, design and build scalable and highly available systems on AWS, and ensure system reliability and efficiency through monitoring and performance optimization.

You will work closely with our Product Owner, UX/UI Designers, Frontend and Backend Developers, and QA to deliver high-quality features for our LiveWell proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS
  • Building clean and efficient back-end features in Python
  • Participating in the software development life cycle
  • Designing and building scalable and highly available systems on AWS
  • Ensuring system reliability and efficiency through monitoring and performance optimization
Requirements
  • Proven record in building Python code for AWS services
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and Lambda functions
  • Understanding of databases (Dynamodb and Postgresql) and SQL
  • Configuring security and data protection settings on AWS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex system
  • Analytical mind with great attention to detail
  • Essential experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English
