About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Tech Lead to join our team at EPAM. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our back-end team, working closely with various technology teams, and collaborating with sophisticated investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing sophisticated tools and collaborating with investors
- Working closely with UI/UX Design team, backend engineering team, and platform engineers
- Leading a team of 4-6 engineers and mentoring junior developers
- Designing and implementing back-end solutions using Scala and other technologies
- Ensuring high-quality code and adhering to security best practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience in technically rigorous environments
- Strong computer science fundamentals and mastery of back-end development
- Excellent design skills and experience with CI/CD, SDLC, Agile, and Design patterns
- Experience as Team Lead/Solution Architect and strong leadership skills
- Strong algorithmic and debugging skills, with a focus on security
