We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant in Barcelona to join our team at Michael Page.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and design software solutions and implementation tools within the SAP FI/CO Module to meet business requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders in the design of requirements and solutions.
- Manage projects from consulting and project initiation to handover to the business teams.
- Develop functional designs and execute implementation migrations, tests, SAP process improvements, and customizing.
- Anticipate business needs and propose IT solutions.
- Ensure the overall effectiveness of the SAP FICO Module and implement cost-effective improvements.
- Ensure that implemented applications support business processes and ensure consistent utilization.
- Provide training for end users and document processes.
- Investigate and resolve incidents while diagnosing their root causes.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Complementary education in SAP or IT from an accredited institution is welcomed.
- 5-7 years of proven experience within the IT area and business environment as an SAP FICO Consultant / SAP FICO Business Partner.
- SAP SD experience is helpful to support overarching processes.
- Demonstrated capability in executing IT implementation initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Working knowledge of major business processes and key performance indicators.
- In-depth knowledge of the FICO SAP module, including financial closing and invoicing processes.
- Solid understanding of current and planned IT architecture platforms and solutions.
- Superior customer relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to improvement actions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- Availability to travel if necessary.
- ABAP knowledge is highly appreciated.
