Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Nestle Operational Services Worldwide Sa. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of planning, procurement, distribution, stock control, and internal logistics of materials such as ROH, ZPCK, HALB, and FERTs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, procurement, and distribution of raw materials and finished products
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Lead a team of approximately 90 people within the logistics department
  • Participate in HACCP meetings and provide action plans for the improvement and maintenance of the NFSMS
  • Ensure the correct palletization of all factory products and optimize palletizers
  • Be responsible for the entire supply chain team's safety and the supply of cocoa beans
  • Coordinate with the raw materials warehouse for the unloading of urgent materials
  • Ensure the correct planning of loads from the production schedule and the availability of transport
  • Coordinate the planning of finished product loads with the different transport HUBs
  • Ensure proper warehouse management, goods entries, and the release of packaging material
  • Ensure proper shipment of goods and the correct dispatch of finished products
  • Ensure proper stock management, material returns, and inventories

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration and Management or Business Sciences
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a logistics position or similar role
  • Experience in food production processes and quality standards
  • User-level knowledge of SAP
  • Experience in dealing with people and in a leadership role for more than 3 years
  • Average knowledge in occupational risk prevention, quality, and environment
  • Trading and negotiation experience
  • Experience in business or administrative management
  • Knowledge of warehouse and transport management
  • Problem-solving approach
  • Fluent in English; other languages would be an advantage
