We are seeking a skilled software tester to contribute to the development and quality assurance of our complex Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform.
- Maintaining and providing support for the test system to ensure continuous quality of our on-premise and cloud solutions is crucial.
- You will cover aspects from test strategy, requirements analysis, test design and automation, to ensuring the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Working within an interdisciplinary, distributed team using agile practices is key.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Experience in software testing, especially automation in modern backend and web applications, ideally within the IIoT environment is necessary.
- Proficiency in Java, scripting languages, automation tools, and web service interfaces like REST and SOAP is essential.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as REST Assured, Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, and others is a must.
- Knowledge of data storage technologies (NoSQL, SQL), Scrum, open source, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Model-Based Testing (MBT) is required.
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken); skills in Spanish and German are a plus.
- Being organized, resourceful, and troubleshooting-oriented is vital.
- Willingsness to learn new technologies and work effectively in agile teams with good communication skills is necessary.
- At least 2-3 years of work experience is required.
- Availability to travel is a must.
