Job Title: Marketing Communications Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to provide support across our Specialty (STG) line of business, which consists of two main parts: Transportation and EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS). This role will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to provide marketing communications support across the LOB for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the project management and delivery of all printed materials, including product guides, range summaries, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee and manage the translation of literature items into various languages, working with translation agencies.
  • Manage the print ordering process, coordinating with suppliers and online ordering systems.
  • Support the development of advertising and PR campaigns, including liaison with agencies and suppliers, content development, media bookings, and budget monitoring.
  • Manage the supply of all merchandise items for STG EMEA, including the online shop, supplier relationships, and user enquiries.
  • Develop meaningful sales content to enable the sales team to target the right customers with the right information and materials.
  • Support with the provision of all exhibitions and events, including liaison with suppliers, event organization, and attendance.
  • Assist with managing the ODYSSEY Battery EMEA website, ensuring timely updates and content development.
  • Support with STG content development and updating of the website, working with colleagues from across the wider business.
  • Work with colleagues, suppliers, and agencies to develop content and presence across all social media channels.
  • Support with the management and control of video and still image assets, including updating the media library and arranging photo and video shoots.
  • Support in the management of all sponsorship contracts, including receiving applications, executing contracts, and attending events.
  • Support with the management and control of the marketing budget, including the control of invoices, recording of spend, and management of accruals.
Requirements
  • A business-related degree, preferably in marketing or marketing communications.
  • A good understanding of business infrastructures and the ability to build good relationships and networks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse, negotiate, and develop good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and administering complex projects, using project management and reporting tools.
  • Two to three years' industry experience within a similar manufacturing/technical environment or demonstrable transferrable skills in line with the job requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, with specific demonstrable experience of applications used for marketing communications.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems and social media platforms would be an advantage.
  • Preferable experience with Salesforce CRM and SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing invoices and budget monitoring.
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner when dealing with customers, field sales, and company contacts.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with challenging and complex issues and individuals, with the ability to negotiate and seek support when and where required.
  • Proficient in the English language, spoken and written. Multilingual a plus.
Travel
  • Ability to drive with a full, clean driving licence preferred.
  • Estimated 15-25% UK and Europe travel, dependent upon work requirements.
