About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our AI Lab Team, part of the Competitive Intelligence Unit at Semrush. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing AI insights for our tools and internal models, working with large amounts of data and leveraging machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to provide AI insights from traffic data
  • Analyze usage and predict client behavior
  • Conduct experiments, storing results, retraining models, quality monitoring, and alerting
  • Conduct code reviews
Requirements
  • Specialized education in mathematics, physics, or computer science
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and methods
  • Knowledge of probability theory, linear algebra, and mathematical analysis
  • Ability to write clean Python code
  • Experience with databases (SQL DBs, BigQuery)
  • Work experience of at least two years in a similar role
  • English at a B2 level or higher
Nice to Have
  • Experience with explainable AI
  • Experience with MLFlow
  • Experience with GitLab CI
  • Experience with GCP and Vertex AI
  • Experience in developing ETL processes with Airflow
  • Experience in deploying ML systems with batch/real-time processing and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager)
About the Team

The AI Lab Team is part of the Competitive Intelligence Unit, which develops products for domain traffic and market analytics. We work with a large amount of data and use machine learning in our solutions. Some projects we want you to be a part of include churn prediction model, traffic chart description, and insights about potential audience.
