The Senior Data Governance Manager will work closely with Data Domain Stewards and sector-specific governance teams (as applicable) to ensure standards are being upheld and should new data requirements be needed, that the domain stewards are engaged as needed.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Creating governance policies, procedures, and rules to reduce PepsiCo's data-related risks as it relates to collecting, storing, and using internal & external data.
- Providing technical, project management support and policy advice to senior management levels for strategic projects and policies.
- Ensuring standards are applied by all the stakeholders and preventing or resolving data definition conflicts by facilitating discussions across appropriate business units.
- Identifying risks and controls related to enterprise data security changes.
- Working with the Data Ecosystem team to create policies and standards for external data storage and usage and ensuring adherence.
