Financial Data Analyst

This position involves analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in general ledger accounting. They will be responsible for recording accounts payable invoices, reconciling payments, and managing outgoing payments.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled financial data analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment processing. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in achieving this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to inform business decisions
- Record accounts payable invoices and reconcile them with existing purchase orders
- Reconcile incoming payments and ensure accurate recording
- Manage outgoing payments, including reconciliation of bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences, and intercompany accounts
- Prepare payment suggestion forms and execute payments accordingly
- Reconcile and book monthly payroll transactions accurately
- Prepare statutory forms and reports for external providers
Requirements:
- Strong background in accounting principles
- Experience in general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in Spanish and English
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with SAP and Excel is preferred
- Payroll booking experience
- Organized with attention to detail
