Responsibilities
As a Digital Data Privacy Expert, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a Global/Regional representative of BASF Digital community, supporting BASF Digital roadmap, and helping GDS to identify, execute, and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.
- Driving and continuously improving BASF's data privacy strategy in close collaboration with BASF's legal team.
- Collecting requirements for building realization concepts for data privacy and the proper implementation of a legal base management system.
- Understanding integration designs and digesting architectural concepts, including APIs and programming languages.
- Contributing to the development of legal compliance within respective product families as well as BASF globally.
- Closely collaborating with external service providers and implementation partners.
- Understanding BASF's system landscape and integration principles.
- Engaging in development activities while driving sustainable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, informatics, data science, information systems, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 3-5 years related working experience.
- A strong digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digital Transformation journey.
- Creativity and team spirit.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Experience in project and change management, including presentation skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to transfer insights into actions.
- Experience in programming languages (HTML, Javascript, JSON) and APIs.
- Experience with authentication methods (OAUTH 2.0, Client-Certificates, API KEYs,...).
- Experience in services and tools like Web Services and Rest, GIT, Jira, Azure DevOps, and agile tools.
- Microsoft Office and Atlassian Toolstack experience.
- Experience in agile way of working.
