Job Title: Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Essity Ab. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for creating optimal transport plans to guarantee customer service levels for transport, considering existing business and legal rules, and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize daily transport planning through a TMS (Transport Management System) within the expected timelines, trying to fulfill trucks and save costs, respecting business agreements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders from all around Europe.
  • Manage transport incidences through a Ticketing Tool.
  • Follow up on planned transports to ensure delivery time is respected.
  • Proactively advise about improvements on transport planning scope.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years working experience, ideally in Transport Planning and Execution.
  • English and French language is mandatory.
  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Additional languages are a plus (German, Italian, Spanish).
  • Interest in Transportation and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborative person, looking forward to work in a growing multicultural company.
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is mandatory. Knowledge of software such as TMS, SAP, or Ticketing Tool will be a plus.
  • Proactive, continuously improving and looking for process efficiencies.
