We're seeking a Medical Science Liaison - Biologics professional who is passionate about driving results, embracing learning, and bringing a positive energy to our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a scientific engagement plan with key opinion leaders in your region to provide comprehensive medical and scientific education to external stakeholders. You'll also develop a network of key opinion leaders in the field and maintain ongoing professional relationships to gather insights that provide medical and scientific support for Galderma's medicines and areas of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a scientific engagement plan with key opinion leaders in your region to provide comprehensive medical and scientific education to external customers.
  • Develop a network of key opinion leaders in the field and maintain ongoing professional relationships to gather insights that provide medical and scientific support for Galderma's medicines and areas of interest.
  • Provide scientific and technical support for field-based sales forces, acting as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagements.
  • Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Produce, review, and update scientific internally approved presentations and assets for assigned therapeutic areas as required.
  • Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in dermatology.
  • Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.

Requirements:

  • Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Demonstrated experience in dermatology and/or biologics.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at various levels, including to key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented (matrix) environment and partner with different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and of regulatory processes.
  • Working knowledge of the Social Security in Spain, including the ability to understand clinical priorities and how processes work within this system.
  • Frequent travel will be required.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: Field-based in Madrid and South Spain.
