\Overview of the Role
We're seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain - Cement to implement and execute the Logistics and Supply strategy across the Aggregate Industries Cement Division. This role will involve controlling all scheduling activities, including material sourcing, shipping, and road logistics for circa 2 million tonnes of the division's annual cementitious demand across a nationwide network.\
\Key Responsibilities

- Ensure Health & Safety across the function is a priority, with all Safety Management Systems fully compliant with Group and Legislative standards.\
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and sustainability goals.\
- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all processes.\
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities and establish appropriate team structures within each business unit.\
- Review and improve business processes, demand forecasting, and customer service levels to deliver a clear competitive advantage in terms of delivery performance and accuracy.\
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to deliver excellent operational service all year round.\
\Requirements
This role requires an educated individual, preferably CIPS qualified, with extensive experience in supply chain operations, preferably within the cement or construction materials sector. You'll need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate and improve processes to achieve greater efficiencies. Additionally, you'll have a proven ability in senior stakeholder management, with a track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams towards achieving ambitious goals.\
