Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bakery Chef to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery goods using authentic methods and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce a range of breads, rolls, baguettes, bun dough, scones, laminate dough, pastry, and cakes with creativity and flair.
• Develop and innovate the product range, working with our Head Baker to create delicious combinations of taste and texture.
• Ensure our operation runs smoothly, with a focus on food hygiene standards and service preparation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar-sized kitchen team.
• Passion for food and a love for our particular flavors.
• Methodical and process-driven approach to tasks, with the ability to work flexibly and calmly to meet deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
