Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Leader to join our European Business Development team in Madrid/Frankfurt/London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities across Europe and the UK, focusing on Project Finance and Infrastructure clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Prospect identification and proposal preparation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with investors, issuers, and intermediaries
- Cordinating letters of engagement, confidentiality agreements, invoicing, and compliance requests
- Liaising with senior BD management and rating sector heads on banker and issuer relationships; conducting research and providing market coverage analysis to qualifying targets
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A university degree in a related field
- Business fluency in English; additional European languages would be welcomed
- 5-7 years' previous experience in financial services (debt capital markets, securitization, corporate finance, ratings advisory, credit rating agency)
- Strong knowledge of the Project Finance and Infrastructure market
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Result-oriented individual with solid research and analytical abilities
- Proficient skill with CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
What We Offer:
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
