The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting area, managing statutory balance sheets, and profit & loss statements of our legal entities in Europe.

About the Role

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring strong leadership and technical skills. The Accounting and Tax Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing tax liabilities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly accounting closing process for 7 legal entities in Europe.
  • Perform postings in the accounting system, including provisions, balance sheet reclassifications, CAPEX amortization, etc.
  • Lead Cost Center P&L accounting.
  • C coordinate internal and outsourced accounting teams.
  • Ensure timely processing of tax liabilities and returns (VAT, Income Tax, international Transfer pricing rules).
  • Oversee intercompany invoicing process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of full Balance sheet and P&L.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures according to internal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a multinational environment.
  • Financial Close experience.
  • Deep knowledge in Spanish GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent English speaker; Spanish desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user.
