The International Tax Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the international tax unit at Amadeus. This position requires a strong understanding of international tax regulations and principles, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Optimize Tax Incentives: Analyze and optimize tax incentives for the Amadeus Group to minimize tax liabilities.
  2. Manage Effective Tax Rate: Monitor and control the Group's effective tax rate to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Support Tax Litigation: Assist Amadeus Group Companies in tax litigation procedures, providing expert advice and guidance.
  4. Review Tax Clauses: Review and negotiate tax clauses in Amadeus agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Manage Tax Contingencies: Identify and manage tax contingencies, coordinating with the Group Accounting department.
  6. Conduct Tax Analysis: Conduct continuous analysis to identify tax efficiencies and optimize tax strategies.
  7. Provide Tax Advisory: Provide tax advisory and support to various business units, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Review DST Regulations: Review and prepare DST declarations for all Amadeus companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Handle Tax Audits: Handle tax audits related to DST, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Support M&A Department: Support the M&A department with tax analysis of potential acquisitions, including due diligence and structuring.
  11. Assist Legal Department: Assist the legal department with tax contract reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  1. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in international tax roles, with a strong understanding of international tax regulations and principles.
  2. Education: Degree in Finance, Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
  3. Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and identify optimal solutions.
  4. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with various departments, including legal, accounting, and business units.
  5. Proactivity: Proactive in identifying tax efficiencies and managing tax contingencies.
