Job Description

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining standardized logistics processes across the organization. This includes ensuring adherence to global standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Key accountabilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining standardized logistics processes across the organization
  • TMS/WMS and logistics digitalizations management, involved in new ERP and digital logistics tools implementations
  • Direct follow-up to WERFEN affiliates in logistics projects, processes implementations, and operational support
  • Continuously reviewing and improving logistics processes to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

The successful candidate will also establish forums, workshops, and communication channels to disseminate successful practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches. Additionally, they will drive change management activities related to logistic processes, ensuring effective communication, training, and adoption of process changes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain departments in Healthcare, Chemical, or Distribution industries
  • Excellent computer skills, including Office packet, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Language: Spanish and English; a third language highly recommended

Skills & Capabilities

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct a root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have project management skills, conflict management skills, and the ability to coach and advise team members. You should be able to provide actionable and well-supported recommendations and multitask effectively.

Travel Requirements

This role may require up to 20-30% travel time.
