We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Water Consultancy Division, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of various projects, including transmission pipelines, surge analysis, and hydraulic design of water and wastewater treatment works.
Key Responsibilities- Support Associate or Principal Hydraulic Engineers in leading and delivering projects
- Deliver hydraulic engineering services on a range of projects
- Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports
- Manage design risk to deliver constructable design solutions
- Identify and support continuous improvement of procedures and processes
- Mentor junior colleagues and provide technical guidance
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
- Work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver projects
- Significant technical experience in pressurised and open-channel hydraulics
- Experience in hydraulic calculations and profiles for water and wastewater treatment works
- Proven ability to lead delivery of technical projects and control project budgets

- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution
