Role Overview

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Denied Party Screening Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for screening potential or existing business partners, customers, suppliers, and any other entities as per TD SYNNEX policies and regulations through various organizations and in various systems, to provide appropriate feedback to managers and to find effective ways of communication with sales and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Regulatory Compliance team in maintaining and implementing TD SYNNEX policies and regulations.
  • Screen names and addresses against Denied Party lists as directed by TD SYNNEX Regulatory Compliance policies and regulations.
  • Make decisions and record evidence accordingly.
  • Evaluate and escalate to managers when necessary.
  • Adhere to procedures as per SOPs in place.
  • Classify ECCNs accurately.
  • Manage compliance-related correspondence in a timely and compliant manner.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Entry-level experience in a related field.
  • Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Effective communication and writing skills in English and other local/regional languages.
  • Able to understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaboration and building effective working relationships with others.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of EU import-export Customs Regulations.
  • Knowledge of EU and US classification and export control of products containing encryption and export license processing.
  • Experience/knowledge of international trade.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Great teamwork.
  • Enquiring mind and critical analysis.
  • Good standard of education (university degree is an advantage).
  • Ability to speak and write effectively in English and local language; ability in other European languages is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience working in compliance, international trade.
  • Good computer-related skills, including MS Office, business intelligence, or SAP Analysis (advantageous).

Working Conditions

  • Home office (80% of the time).
  • Monday to Friday, with early morning and late evening shifts, and occasional weekend work or late-night cover.
  • Required to work on public holidays.
  • Temporary contract (12 months).
