Your Role as a Maintenance Engineer Trainee

As a Maintenance Engineer Trainee, you will play a crucial part in supporting the upkeep and enhancement of our equipment and machinery. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, maximizing uptime and reliability. This role is a perfect fit for individuals with a mechanical aptitude and a desire to deepen their expertise in the oil and energy sector through practical, hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the comprehensive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Perform routine inspections to detect potential issues early and ensure all operations comply with strict safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to develop and refine preventive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct thorough equipment tests, analyze performance data, and suggest actionable improvements.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
  • Help identify necessary spare parts and materials, ensuring the availability of essential resources for maintenance tasks.
  • Engage in ongoing training and workshops to continuously upgrade your technical skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • A solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to understand and apply technical documentation and blueprints.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • A proactive approach to learning and collaboration within a team setting.
