Job Overview

Fortrea is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trial Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and oversight of local operational clinical trial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, with experience in managing clinical trials, budgeting, and contract negotiations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure successful trial execution.

Responsibilities
  • Manage country and site budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and payment timelines.
  • Develop and execute clinical trial country submissions and approvals for assigned protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Clinical Operations, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Work with external partners, including investigators, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain local language materials, including informed consents and translations.
Requirements
  • University degree in a life science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical research, with a strong background in trial management, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
