We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Data Analyst to join our International Indirect Tax Compliance team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data management and analysis support to our indirect tax compliance customers and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities- Support tax initiatives from a project management and data perspective, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assigned projects.
- Extract and analyze large financial data sets to identify trends and insights, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with technology partners to innovate and maintain complex business and data solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Amazon's systems.
- Design and implement process improvements to automate and reduce manual work, increasing efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with our indirect tax compliance team to provide data-driven insights and support, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department.
- Preferred qualifications include experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software, such as Vertex.
