Global Demand and Forecast Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Demand and Forecast Planner to join our team at Nordex SE. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of spare parts to our wind turbine customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the central interface between local country organizations and headquarters functions to coordinate global spare parts demands and supply chain operations.
- Secure the earliest possible ordering of all plannable material demands in SAP, particularly for known repair scopes, scheduled maintenance, and retrofit campaigns.
- Optimize global spare parts stocks in local country organizations and central warehouses to minimize working capital.
- Monitor and analyze demand and delivery patterns to identify potential bottlenecks and supply chain disruptions.
- Create forecasts of global spare parts demands by analyzing and interpreting order trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve material classification and sourcing.
- Train local material managers on efficient usage of safety stocks and maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to make informed predictions of future spare parts demands.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Economics or Engineering, preferably with a focus on business administration, supply chain management, or logistics.
- Several years of experience in demand planning and forecasting, material management, and/or sales and operations planning (S&OP).
- Proficiency in supply chain management, preferably for spare parts, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Fluent in English; ideally also Spanish and/or German on a professional level.
- Profound knowledge of SAP ECC, modules MM and SD, as well as MS Office.
- Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated and committed personality with a high degree of drive and ownership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly, especially between company locations in DE-Hamburg, DE-Rostock, and ES-Pamplona.
