As a Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our games.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our Yahtzee team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the gaming industry.
Your primary responsibility will be to implement tasks in CGProg or HLSL within the built-in render pipeline. You will also develop and maintain material components, support artists with UI implementation and tool usability, collaborate closely with both art and engineering teams to optimize workflows and tools for creatives, define and promote technical best practices for content creation, and own and maintain the technical budget of in-game assets.
This role requires strong scripting and coding skills (e.g., Python, C#), hands-on experience with Unity, a solid understanding of computer graphics fundamentals, familiarity with digital content creation tools (e.g., Blender, Photoshop, Figma), experience using version control and asset management tools (e.g., Git, Perforce), strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to bridge art and engineering disciplines, experience with real-time VFX, and an understanding of animation pipelines.
