Clean Energy Infrastructure Debt Finance Manager

Job Summary:

Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, is seeking a highly skilled Clean Energy Infrastructure Debt Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for managing debt portfolios and ensuring the financial health of our renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage risk across our debt portfolios, including financial risk assessments and sensitivity analysis.
  • Oversee regular reporting from securitisation vehicles and assess the performance of our asset and loan portfolios.
  • Provide direction and oversight to legal counsel on ad-hoc project matters, including default recovery.
  • Coordinate cash management to protect value and generate maximum long-term returns for our investors.
  • Develop and manage asset operating models to ensure efficient and effective portfolio management.
  • Manage regular deliverables to internal stakeholders, including asset reporting packs and financial return projections.
  • Coordinate delegated financial and commercial representatives, including external servicers and legal counsel.
  • Support fund management activities, including cash flow forecasting and quarterly and annual investor reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in portfolio management, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience with asset-backed securities, structured finance, and credit funds is essential.
  • Financial control experience in fund management or corporate is desirable.
  • Relevant experience or interest in the power industry or sustainability is a plus.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required, with additional European languages desirable.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK or Spain-EU-27.
